Ms. Butaud has 28 years of experience representing clients in collection, landlord and tenant, family, estate, probate, real estate and commercial law. She currently represents the largest furniture distributor in North America in their collection matters. Ms. Butaud is on the board of directors for the Kansas Board of Discipline of Attorneys and is past president of the Wyandotte County Bar Association. She is on the board of directors of First Downs for Down Syndrome (FDFDS) and acts as a liaison between the board of directors of the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City and the FDFDS board. Ms. Butaud is also on the board of directors of the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City, Inc. where she serves as operations chairman and as a member of the programs committee. Ms. Butaud is a native Texan, but has lived in Shawnee, Kansas for 34 years.
